    I agree--- seeing that many people smiling is a nice change. Perhaps someday when the "long national nightmare is over" we'll see more smiles.

    I'm enjoying your posts about Gasparilla, but know nothing about it, so decided to look up a few more details about it on Wikipedia.
    Gasparilla Pirate Festival is a large parade and a host of related community events held in Tampa, Florida almost every year since 1904. The theme of the festivities is the legend of José Gaspar (also known as Gasparilla), a mythical Spanish pirate who supposedly operated in Southwest Florida from the late 1700s until the early 1800s.

    Yes, I know you knew that but I didn't! LOL!

    Great photographs it does look a fun event.
