You gave Dina and I 13 years of love. Here is one year in flashback. You will be painfully missed, Miss Gracie. We love you. May your journey over the Rainbow Bridge be as wonderful as the 13 years you gave us.

  5. It is so very sad when a dog dies. They are such loyal and playful beasts. It is heartbreaking but unfortunately they don't live as long as one would like them to.

  9. Tears here.
    I am so very sorry.
They wind their paws into our heart-strings and take a piece of us with them when they go.

  12. Oh my goodness, I just had a feeling this was going end as such, I know how horrible, and heartbreaking of a time this must be. I cry a million tears along with you my friend. May Gracie be in comfort and as precious and beautiful over the bridge as she was right here in this flashback. The one photo stands out the most for me, with her in the lead of her sisters, and the little one, and you can almost hear the thoughts going through her head. Hurry up, stop fooling around, we have stuff to smell!

  14. I'm sorry, Mac. Forty years later I still remember when I buried my cat. The memory still hurts. But at least you have the good memories, too.

  18. I can see why you would miss her! My comments about dog walkers were rather tongue in cheek! And the truth be told I do like the ones who stop for a chat - people rarely go past a long lens or a telescope without comment.
