The Blind Dragon - Peter Fane

Are you an Anne McCaffrey fan? You'll readily see her influence in Peter Fane’s 2016 novel, The Blind Dragon. I could almost feel Ruth (from The White Dragon) nodding his head with an approving smile.

Fane did a good job creating his dragon world, without much of the over explaining in a lot of fantasy. Good characters. The action started in the early pages and didn’t quit (until his unfortunate epilogue, which he could have left for the sequel—my humble opinion). [But that negative is easily overlooked.]

All fantasy fans must read The Blind Dragon.

I Photograf Beauty, even if I won't do it justice

Greetings from the Hermit Writer.
What! You haven't read SEEker? Oh, my.

GSDs rock. I miss my Corky. She was so cool.

The big boy's little buddy was cute.

I think I stubbed my toe as I took this shot.

The sun is about to make an appearance.

Soon, a swan song.

Mac just getting arty again.

Living Big on the Beach

Greetings from the Hermit Writer.
What? You haven't read any of my SEEker novels? Send me a note and I'll send you book 1. [Then I'll expect you to buy the other three. You know. I set expectations.]

This is Gwendolyn, tippy toeing.

Waiting for the sun to drop out of those upper clouds.

Oh, oh--more cool reflection.

Looks like an apocalypse sunset, huh?

Not so weird, panned back.

I feel bad these folk didn't get included in my 'Folk I met'on the Beach' post.

Folk I Met at the Beach

Greetings from the Hermit Writer.

This gent and I talked about photography a long time. I had to break it off to catch the sunset. I hope he'll drop me a note.

I feel badly I didn't get this pup's name. But his dad wrote me a note to get the shots I took.

The gent sent me an 'LOL' when I sent him his son's photo.

A shot of the pack.

An arty shot of the pack's fringe elements.

A shot because you have to capture shiny reflections.

Caught My Eye on the Beach

Greetings from the Hermit Writer.
Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans. :O)

Birds lining up for a snooze

Folk will be packing up after the sun goes down. Not before.

This little guy stole my heart. He's 4 mo's old. Look at that crooked ear!

Hey, Pedro! Thanks for swinging by.

I truly hate Florida.

This reminds me of the cream sodas we used to drink when I was a kid. They're back, huh?

Greetings from the Hermit Writer.
(I've been working on my web page. If you have a sec, check it out (link) and tell me what you think?)

The anahingas finding their beddy by spot.

Looking south over Old Tampa Bay

Just gettin' arty. You know I do that now and then.

Westside cloud bank.

A Little closer view

Panning south a tad.
