Favorite Passage

I may enjoy my own writing too much. From my current WIP, book 4 of my Revenir series:

We got out of Miss Ziggy, the heat blasting me in the face like a mallet, and walked for the front door. In Florida we can never say, but it's a dry heat. In August in Tampa you can step into a swimming pool to dry off a little.

Favorite Passage

This is from my current 4 of my REVENIR series. I loved this. I don't know why.

Aggie is a weak endowed like me. But where I got empathy for my superhuman power, in the paranormal genres, she would be called a succubus. Which I think is a great word. Fantastic word. Succubus. Rolls off the tongue, and sounds kind of sexy, in a sleazy, downtown at three AM kind of way. But Renee would rip my throat out if she heard me use it.

Snapshots - Odds and Ends

Greetings from the Hermit-Writer.

Some tot lost their ball in the river :(

Colorful ambiance around this old bird bath

I've shot this frog before...but he just calls to my camera. I luv 'im

A pleasant accouterments to this carport

The front of a travel trailer...I may have pumped up the contrast a bit.

Lucy needed loving while I was chatting with my neighbor

Bwa ha ha...I have neighbors with a sense of humor

This neighbor changes her front step every month. Kudos.

You often find pink flamingos adorning Florida lawns. Not so often a flamingo-vulture. I love my neighbors

Snapshots - Odds and Ends

Greetings from the Hermit-Writer. Various shots from walks, here and there.

I like the early sun streaming through the Spanish Moss

Doesn't take much to provoke me to snap the burly limbs of an old oak

A bit of whimsy from a window display

Love what Ms Nature gives us

I like this old pecan against a cloudy sky

Randy's not sure about this.

Ah. The introduction is on. (Lucy loved him)

I love clouds...and trees

... the color of nature

And whimsy.
