Sunday Safari--Bayshore Boulevard

Blustery, low-seventies, unusual gray sky for us in Tampa today thanks to hurricane Sandy. Strolled up one of Tampa's true gems, Bayshore Boulevard, starting at Ballast Point at sunrise. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Molly, Gracie and Lucy wish you a happy Halloween.

Have a great week.

Favorite Passage

Adel entered, strapping on her sword. "You promised."
Justen paused to take her in. She no longer looked as though a sword belonged on her hip. She had changed so much since losing her brother, and transitioning from brawny warrior, a signet flourishing. Gone, the abrupt warrior cut. Her hair, once as dark as a thoroughbred's, now golden with red highlights, reached well below her shoulders. It was tied back for riding, half-hidden in Dyfydian-blue silk. Her eyes glinted amber in the lazy flutter of the sconce. Her thinned face highlighted a grace he had never noticed before. She stood tall, shoulders back. Her riding vest, instead of hiding her femininity, thrust her breasts into a dare.
"I'm sorry. What did you say?"
"You promised."
About what?
She pointed to the regalia two steps away.
"I lied. If they can't figure out I'm no peasant, I'm not going to bash anyone about the head with pageantry."

Sunday Safari – Babe Zeharias, Tampa

A drop-dead beautiful morning here in paradise. Sixty degrees, not a cloud in the sky. Hiked across another of our three municipal golf courses in Tampa. Hope you enjoy.

These oaks sure narrow the fairway.

Dew looks cool, giving the grass a silver hue, eh?

I loved the texture of the moss and the reflection together

Great oak resplendent in the early morning sun.

Looks like a preying mantis munching on a mint snow cone, or is it just me?

That water is thick.

A butt shot! "Whachu lookng at?"

Oaks line a sharp dogleg.

He posed. Almost screamed at me to take his picture.

Paper trees have such a neat texture.

 Have a great week!
