Oh how awesome are your gulls in flight, Mac! Beautiful images. Yes, imagine fiddling with your phone and not playing with your kid! Ergh! Have a great day. Jo
Love every one of these, especially the colors and movement!!! I can't take drab winter scenes for too long! We just came down to our little winter home so at least I get to see blue skies and red cliffs for awhile. PS. I totally agree with everything you said in my last post. Rarely do I like nature and landscapes in b&w, but often I prefer it in street photography and architecture and of course in dark, moody scenes. Ansel may be rolling in his grave about speaking disparagingly of b&w but I bet he'd be so excited about digital cameras, computer editing, Photoshop etc., especially since he was certainly one of the best known examples of early photography manipulation in post process!
Great photos, Mac! I really like the editing... birds are kind of high-contrast and really stand out against the soft blue backgrounds. And yes, fries my grits too!
I agree with you about ditching the phone. And wish it was much more common.
ReplyDeleteLove the birds.
I do love seeing birds in flight. Perhaps the dad was taking a photo before playing with his son.

ReplyDeleteOne day he will look up from his phone and his child will be grown. Enjoy them while they are young.
