I put my foot down and sent Dina to stay with friends on the East Coast. I'm hunkering down since not much I can do with two fifty pound dogs. I look up at the giant oaks surrounding my house, and I'm not embarrassed to say I'm worried.
Maybe pray for us, if you believe.
So here are some snaps from a paddle I took on Monday
On the south side of the river
On the north side of the river
Love the deadwood poking out.
I havent been around in a very long time (even changed my name) just happened to visit you to catch this. Thinking of you. Hoping all is ok. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sarah
DeleteHello, Prayers for you, your dogs and Florida. Stay safe, I hope it is not as bad as they say. You never know things may change, Irma can change.
ReplyDeleteTake care!
ReplyDelete...my best you my friend. I have some spare bedrooms!
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteYer in Indiana? Long drive
Thanks though
You darn bet I'm praying for you and your pups! I hope you made the right decision because I know there are lots of dog lovers out there (not just me) that would say bring your pups right on over! Take good care of you all my friend!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're able to stay good and safe.
ReplyDeleteHolding you in my heart. And there is certainly room for the dogs too.
ReplyDeleteI wish you and the dogs had left too.
ReplyDeleteHang in there, hon. Update us when you can.
It's late Sunday here now and I hope you and your friends all still have your homes. And everyone else too of course. I'm really surprised at how many times America has been hit this year with one thing or another. I hope the dogs aren't too frightened.
ReplyDeleteLets hope Irma's fizzling out, nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteOh man! Please keep us updated on your safety. I dont want to see you swimming around on the news! Prayers for everyone in this monsters path.
ReplyDeleteLisa

ReplyDeleteWill have you in my thoughts tonight. Have just been watching the news and it isn't looking good for Tampa. I would be hiding under the table if I were you.
ReplyDeletePraying...and hoping you decided to leave. Can't you put your dogs in a car and drive away? :(
