Crawly Things and More of the Same

Greetings from the Hermit Writer.

  1. I do like those beach crabs!

The rock art site has been used more of less continually for 40,000 years (!) - most of the art visible today is no more than 2000 years old - the 'white man' image is the top layer (i.e. most recent) of many hundreds of different images. Its a remarkable place.

  2. Love the crabs and the water. To my shame, I am not good with snakes. I can admire them, but only from a distance.

  3. You can keep your crabs is it? But I wonder if you know is your snake charmer a girl or a boy? I was at the Renaissance last weekend and of course visiting all the snakes and lizards and such, so a couple that I really liked I asked how do you know it's a girl? None of the handlers knew but the boss man knows they said! I know it's a silly question but really there has to be a way to know!

  4. Oh my that snake . We have only field snakes I call them. I see only one in the years I lived here. I can handle to look not have it wrapped around my ankles. Once I sat down near a creek when I was 15 and right beside me was a snake rolled up. That really made me yell. Like you other pictures. beautiful.
