awwww she is beautiful and she has some great classroom signs!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat quotes! They're terrific reminders. Not sure how I'd feel visiting middle school/junior high. How I just dated myself!
ReplyDeleteShe is lovely.
ReplyDeleteNeil Gaiman is one of my heroes.
Glad you survived the trip back to the dark side.
I've went "back to school" several times with my kids. And survived. Not sure how . . .
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you for safely escorting the Mrs!!
What age group is middle school? We have it different here in Australia. We have infant school, (prep, grades one and two) for 5-6-7 year olds, then Primary school, grades 3 to 7 in my state, SA, grades 3 to 6 in Victoria, then High School to grade 12. After that kids go to Uni if they want to, or get jobs.
ReplyDeleteP.S. your wife has pretty hair.
ReplyDeleteYou're a brave man! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you survived and so did your wife..
ReplyDeleteNice use of depth of field - I was a teacher for the best part of 20 years! Those that stay in the profession have my respect!!

Lovely photo of your wife.
ReplyDeleteMy son (and previously, my other son) go to the same school I did. So when I go in for parent's evenings etc, I'm sitting in the same corridors I used to wait in for classes. My eldest son was taught by some of the same teachers as I was - that was a very peculiar experience!
Middle school--EEEKKK--is right.

A good job, moving your missus another year. I like the sayings.
ReplyDeleteI've never been inside a school as an adult. It might be an interesting experience.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a nice hubby for helping your wife. Definitely congratulations to the misses for surviving another year. Teaching is tough. Good for you on fitting in some creativity, Mac.
ReplyDeleteThis was a special adventure, I mean. Isn´t it ?
ReplyDeleteBest, Synnöve
You are braver than me! I turned down a classy new apartment because it was built from an old Middle school. The smell was still there! LOL. Pretty wife!

Teachers are a special kind of people, it's like they are the commanders of the control center in the minds of all. Not just for children but what the teachers everywhere after our blessed and kind of horror filled school years, from my being a mom to being a grandmother, they show us the way. Forever learning something new, always.
ReplyDeleteHey, nice tribute for your wifey!
