A well-cooked palmetto.
Oh man...a mile of 45 degree sand.
A purdy hiding among the palmetto.
And another mile of 45 degree sand
The other famous log among the grass.
At the top of the hill, good to find a place to rest...except that it was over 90 degrees, no shade...I kept walking.
I loved the symetry.
Logs definitely have a character of their own. Good symmetry in the last shot - guess it's a plant and down't bite.
ReplyDeleteI love the symmetry too. You can keep those temperatures though. I would be turning into a troll and only coming out at night.
ReplyDeleteGreat contrast in the photos.
ReplyDeleteLovely series, the last symmetry capture is pretty. I like the flowers too. They could put a roof over that bench for some shade. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and weekend ahead!
ReplyDeleteYep amazing captures! That sandy trail reminds me of my childhood days hiking around Grand Haven!
ReplyDeleteA bench at the end of a calf pulling sandy hike is a wonder.

You had me going - I thought palmetto was some kind of tasty snack! (Must be time for me to start cooking dinner)
ReplyDeleteThe wooden seat is lovely, I like things like that. The orange flower is the same colour as the fire creeper I took photos of today. I hope you were wearing a hat in that heat and drinking lots of water.
