Snapshots - A Florida Wetland

Greetings from the Hermit Writer. Have you hugged a tree today?

Sycamores are gorgeous leafed out. I don't care for their seed pods much.

I love Florida.

I caught up with that Spoonbill. His name is Stephen.

Just enjoying.

This tricolor has a great place to hang.

"Hey, kitty kitty."

This is Felix, the feral cat.

This is Bruce, a Little Blue Heron.

  1. The blue heron is a lovely shade of blue.

  2. Lovely. I am suspicious of what might be in the water that Bruce is wading through though.

  3. I rather like Stephen - although I am not sure why he has tattooed his beak!

  7. Mac, so glad you enjoy Florida so much. I feel the same about Texas, a much different area than yours.

  13. Was a pleasure to meet up with Stephen, Felix and Bruce although feral cats can be a bit hard on the natural wildlife at times. Thanks again for sharing so much beauty.
