Series - Ybor City 1

Greetings from the Hermit Writer. Hangin' out in fantastic weather.

A handsome boy. Didn't like me sitting next to his mom to chat.

Let's take the tram down to Channelside.

Wait. Wait. That's art.

So's that.

Oh. That's beautiful.

Think I would look good with a tattoo.

Tampa's Cuban district.

I kept reading, "Eat Tire." Couldn't understand.

  1. What tattoo would you choose?
Some of them are works of art. Others? Not.

  2. You already may have a tattoo,

  3. Can I borrow some of your sunshine? It's very grey here today.

  4. I do miss our Perth trams; they took them out of service in 1955.
Simple things can be artistic and sometimes somewhat better than when it is complicated.
A tat...wonder why you would choose? One to tie in with a theme of some of your books perhaps?
I also read it as Eat Tire and remember we in Australia spell it tyre so even more weird.

  5. Took me a while to de-code the sign! Crazy.

    Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne

PS; Always up for a travel adventure!

  6. Every pirate needs a tattoo, it's a rule or something. Love that handsome boy in the first photo. =)

  7. Fat Tire silly! Thanks for this dreamy adventure! Thank goodness you carry a camera! And share!

  8. The boy is handsome, it's true. Plant against a blue sky looks lovely. :)

  9. Great adventure pictures. Handsome boy is upset today. Oh boy.

  10. Can you tell, I'm catching up on your blog:) Love to ride the tram. Had to smile about the caption "Wait, wait, that's art." Agree, it's beautiful, but leaves aren't made by anyone. Art is! Yep, I see your eyes rollin' :)

  11. THe Cuban district is so beautiful. Nice pleace for photographers :)

  12. I had to laugh at your last comment as that was how I read it.

  13. Love the dog. Looks like my bingo except it really doesn't--Bingo is Brindle but same look.
Fat tire beer---have is a drink
