Snapshots - Hike in Lake Louisa State Park.

Greetings from the Hermit Writer. From a hike Dec 28.

Some clover that caught my eye.

Most of the trails are very sandy. This is some of the better hiking.

What most of the trails were like.

A wild lemon.

This is one of the best marked trails I've visited lately.

Big Creek.

  2. Looks a comfortable walk under foot by your photo. Signage is important.

  8. Pretty. Big Creek looks better filled than quite a number of our rivers.

  12. Loved the flowers and a wild lemon! Would that perhaps have been part of a property at one time cos that lemon looks too good for something wild. Just me wondering is all.

    1. It is possible. I don't know the history of the park. But the way birds disperse seeds, the abundance of orange trees I find in the middle of forests...implies it could be naturally seeded.
