Snapshots - Hiking the Withlacoochie River Wilderness Park

Greetings from the Hermit Writer. [Balance is reading a book at night, hiking in the morning]

This park has everything!

And nice trails.

I love how oaks swirl around looking for sun.

Another glimpse of wild life. He'd had a hard life. Something had chewed on him. Poor guy. (I'm not showing his wound...I don't do things like that)

It's hard living in Florida.

I love it here, but I like a comfortable bed at the end of the hike.

A lookout tower...with great scenery.

Met these gents form New Port Richie. Say, Hi, y'all.

The clouds made for great panoramas. 

And over here. (I'm not through)

    Love the park and the clouds too.
    The tortoise is the best, I've never seen one with yellow spots before.

    That looks like a lovely place to hike. I really like the 2nd photo of the trail, leads the eye down the way. Happy 2016--I hope you get a lot of photogenic adventures in the new year!
