Snapshots - A Pedal Across Tampa

Greetings from the Hermit Writer. I of course carried my camera on a pedal the other day.

I rode past the airport. The sun was glinting nicely off this chrome.

I looked really hard to see if I'd gotten a selfie. Not that I could see.

Crossed the overpass out of the airport. Always a nice view.

This is Rocky Point, which juts into Tampa Bay.

The 'Frankenstein' Bridge in the distance. (Howard Franklin)

A studious student on the beach.

I chatted with these gents for a while. They had ridden over from Clearwater.

Nice place for a break.

  4. Nice chrome work on that plane - the last plane I was on was not a fancy as that - but it took off, flew and landed safely, so thats all that matters I suppose.

PS: my slowness to comment and visit has been caused by a trip to an island in the Pacific!

  12. That was a nice ride, thanks for taking us along. I used to barely make it around the block, now the bike gathers dust in the back porch :(

  13. Nice pictures. I can't believe the student was reading at the beach, with such lovely views of the water nearby. Guess it was her inspiration.
