Snapshots - A Pedal Across Tampa

Greetings from the Hermit Writer. I of course carried my camera on a pedal the other day.

I rode past the airport. The sun was glinting nicely off this chrome.

I looked really hard to see if I'd gotten a selfie. Not that I could see.

Crossed the overpass out of the airport. Always a nice view.

This is Rocky Point, which juts into Tampa Bay.

The 'Frankenstein' Bridge in the distance. (Howard Franklin)

A studious student on the beach.

I chatted with these gents for a while. They had ridden over from Clearwater.

Nice place for a break.

  1. Blue and v pretty. I suspect it is hotter than I like though.

  2. Super pics, Mac. Happy Thanksgiving!! Wishing you a great time.

  3. Nice collection. The student, nearly Australian colours with her clothes.

  4. Nice chrome work on that plane - the last plane I was on was not a fancy as that - but it took off, flew and landed safely, so thats all that matters I suppose.

PS: my slowness to comment and visit has been caused by a trip to an island in the Pacific!

  5. Good morning, it looks so nice and warm there. Lovely photos. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!

  6. I enjoy your pedals ... thanks for taking the camera along and sharing the pics!

  7. Lot's to see and do in your neck of the woods. You got in awfully close to those shiny planes!

  8. Ah, sunshine. I remember that.

  9. Always fun to go biking. Nice shots

  10. That was a nice ride, thanks for taking us along. I used to barely make it around the block, now the bike gathers dust in the back porch :(

  11. Nice pictures. I can't believe the student was reading at the beach, with such lovely views of the water nearby. Guess it was her inspiration.
