The wind was coming off the Gulf about 30mph. These guys were smart to keep their heads down.
As a rule the Gulf is placid. Not today.
Who doesn't like the beach?
And struttin' around all cool.
The waves were so hard it sheered some heads off. Eeeek!
Nice post! Those birds rock - or should I say "those are cracking birds!" :)

Lido Beach looks amazing. Windy though.
ReplyDeleteAnd I loved the birds.
They would not have to tell me twice to stay out of the water, it looks rough! Especially if there are heads floating around, yuck. I like a walk on the beach and seeing the cute birds. Happy Friday, have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSome serious surf. Your beaches are empty compared to our. We have lots of beached whales.
ReplyDeleteNice Skimmers.
ReplyDeleteLots of wind on the beach sometimes. Great picture of the birds.
ReplyDeleteyour images look like drawings today. did you edit them that way??
ReplyDeletelove the skimmers. :)
