Snapshots - Amazing shots of Florida

Greetings from the Hermit Writer.

A free e-book to the first person who can guess where I hiked.

Don't ask me what I found interesting in this shot.

I either liked all the red...or wanted to show off leisure in Florida.

  1. No pint in me guessing as I have not got a clue other than it's in Florida. Any where near St Johns Island?

  2. How I love boats (especially sail boats) and water. I think you took that photo 'cos of the wonderful relaxation that fellow showed with his feet spread out and the line in his hand, just being there. The red did help too I would think. Catches the eye.

  6. Nice. The boats look so lovely, and I like the guy in the red shirt. He looks like he is really enjoying the sunshine, whether he catches a fish or not!

  8. May I first say, "in the backwoods of Minnesota!" Ha! Ha! Well in truth I think downtown Sarasota in Florida of course, at the Sarasota Bayfront Park. Although a hike on any one of those boats would be awesome too!

    1. you made me look it up...from Wicipedia:

European settlers arrived in significant numbers in the late 1840s. The area already had a Spanish name, Zara Zote, on maps dating back to the early eighteenth century, and it was retained as Sara Sota.

  12. What a beautiful place. The colors are so different from where I live. The sculptures are inspiring and so are the final shots. I can 'feel' summer.
