Sunday Safari - A.L. Anderson Park

Greetings from the Hermit Writer. Photos from March 29

Just practicing my artsy fartsy photography.

AL Anderson isn't a hikers or runners park, but nice for a stroll to the lake.

I could look cool too driving a boat standing up

If I got in this position, I'd need a tow truck to get up.

Nothing sweeter than seeing a dad and son fishing, huh?

This guy didn't like me taking his picture.

This stork didn't mind. He let me get within ten feet of him. He had fun playing with this stick for a while.

Interesting looking bird, huh?

I bet he could sing opera.

And stir hot coffee without an issue.

I think he was saying, "That's close enough, bud."

If you don't know, I love dogs. Dogs in boats are cool.

But all dogs are cool, no matter where they are.

Sigh. This is as close as this eagle ever came to me.

  3. The stork is indeed weird. Being as supple as a brick, I too would need a winch to get me up from that position.
Lovely photos - artsy fartsy one included.

  6. Great shots! Um, that bird's middle name must be ugly..I have no idea what it is, but it reminds me of the turkey vultures we have around here. Have a super day!
