Snapshots - Lake Morton, Lakeland

Greetings from the Hermit Writer

This is Lewie the Ibis.

Not your everyday gator.

Seanteal, the blackbird.

Light stanchion has no name.

Concrete gets better as it ages, doesn't it.

I gotta come back at night. I'll bet when these are lit, all around the lake, must look pretty cool.

Major sculpture

I like columns.

Are the lion's eyes open or closed?

  1. Hello, Mac Wheeler. Interesting how things are in that lake! I like your photos.
You will do well to come back at night. That place with lighted lamps must be magnificent.
    Greetings.

  6. The stone work is fantastic. And, that's the kind of gator I'd be happy to run into :-)

  9. Yes, when those are lit at night, it must be beautiful. We have houses along our lake that are lit and seem magical. Is that a metal scare-gator?

  13. Louie the Ibis? How about Iggy or Irene? I want you to go back and take a picture of the lights in the night so we can see how they look when they are lit, okay?
