How long ya suppose this power pole has been here? Oaks aren't known as fast growers. (Lucy's butt just got caught in the frame...bomb)
They may only be weeds, but I luv em
Ha--aaa--aa--chooo!
More weeds. Not quite ready to be gorgeous.
These weeds were there.
Lucy found sumtin delicious to eat
...and eat
These will become thorns, which my dogs hate. But they apologize up front.
Ahhh. More flowering weeds. Hachoo.
You live in SUCH a beautiful area.
ReplyDeleteI had a course of desensitising injections and now rarely sneeze and sneeze and sneeze...
They're not weeds - they're wild flowers!
ReplyDeleteWe have a similar plant over here called sneezeweed. Maybe it's the same thing, but I'm not aware of it actually making people sneeze, so perhaps not.
ahhh...smack me in the head for being so ignert. Shame on me. I luv em whatever I call em
DeleteThe pole is great. It must have been put there if your oaks grow as slowly as ours.
ReplyDeleteThat power pole is interesting.
ReplyDeleteWish you'd given the name of your weeds as they are probably a lot different to those we have in Australia and we find weeds grow regardless of the climate, soil etc. If you could make money out of them they'd probably just disappear.
geweldig mooi zijn al die wilde bloemen, maar je hoogspanningsmast is wel heel speciaal.
ReplyDeletewow, that is very cool!
ReplyDeleteThe pole doesn't look that old, but it must have been there a long while! Have a wonderful weekend. :)
ReplyDeletehehehe....allergies sure do put a damper on things this time of year!!!
ReplyDeletelucy is luscious!!!!
What with the death of the American honey bee, flowers or flowering weeds may start declining. I worry about that poor oak should that pole have to be replaced. Lucy is a beauty. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat pole is interesting. A first to me to see.
ReplyDeleteYour Spring weed flowers I call then in your fields are pretty.
Surely that pole can't have been there as long as it took the tree to grow around it!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty fields full of flowers.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fields, the dogs don't like it, why??????????????? Just joking.
ReplyDeleteThose weeds are very nice. I always love when trees grow around things. Great shots!
ReplyDeleteWeeds or wild flowers they're lovely! I'd like to think the tree grew around the pole. I've seen some odd tree growths but that one surpasses them all!
ReplyDeleteOh Lucy smile for the camera!
ReplyDeleteThat is a cool tree! Lucy is cute smelling the flowers.. Great series. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteNice and curious series, R. Mac Wheeler! I like a lot. I also did a photo to a tree that "ate" a signal http://gumerpaz.blogspot.com.es/2014/06/natura-voraz.html LOL
ReplyDeleteA big hug and happy weekend :)
Lucy is belly deep in weeds. ah-choo!
