Sunday Safari - Holloway Park, Lakeland P1

Greetings from the Hermit Writer. You runners out there would love this park. It is designed for running events. The nicest maintained park I have explored since I've been doing my Sunday Safaris. I hope you enjoy this post and the following five followups. [March 9 hike]

This beats running in the street, don't it?

It was a gorgeous day. About 81 degrees, pleasant breeze, couldn't ask for nicer weather.

Who wouldn't want to run or hike down this trail?

If you're hiking, don't forget your camera

And be prepared to sit and soak up Mother's beauty

Maybe here.

Or here.

This was a former phosphate mine...which they engineered some rolling hills. How cool is that in Florida?

Maybe chillax here a while.

And enjoy the spaghetti trails

And the flowers.

Jeeze willakers, was this my favorite hike this year.

And I wasn't alone.
