Snapshots - War Veterans' Memorial Park (P3)

Greetings from the Hermit Writer. More from my Feb 22 hike.

That's the Gulf Boulevard bridge between Boca Ciega Bay and the Gulf.

More proof it's tough living in Florida

More proof.

Just chillin', enjoying the bay.

...and more proof I love trees...even past their prime.

Beautiful baby.

Just needs an osprey sitting up there. Sigh.

  2. Lovely tough moments again, don't know how you manage it! :) I had a Mr. Woody knocking on a tree near my house this morning, he'd sure love that tree in your last photo!

  3. Mac, we have a number of trees in Texas that have suffered from Oak Wilt, and they look very much like the tree in your photo....only without the osprey.

  8. You must be bored by now by the blue skies, warm weather, fabulous birdlife and all those boring trees.

I like the last two pictures very much.
The book "6 Ways to Die" - is it an instruction book on how to commit suicide? ;-)

  11. I always like seeing bridges. The dead tree is good too. I always love to see a good tree with some character.
