New Web Page

Greetings from the Hermit Writer. I have a favor to ask.

Would you visit a new web page I've created to compliment my home page...and share your first impressions? Update: I had so much fun creating Dude Lit...I branched out and created another new page, Tough Chicks. Check them both out?

Thanks for all thoughts.

  1. Dude Lit! Okay, first, cool title. :) The page seems easy to read, and the tabs for Amazon and B&N on the top of the book covers seem clever. Is there a way to make it open a new browser tab instead of changing that same page? It wasn't letting me hit the back browser to return to your website and look some more. I like your book descriptions--casual and brief and amusing; draws ya in. Great job!

    1. ...odd the BACK button works for me in Chrome. I wish everything was consistent across pages/browsers. Sigh...

  2. The only problem I had was when I selected the B&N tab, that it took me to B&N. I wasn't expecting that. In that case, it should have opened in a new tab, because there's no way to get back to your website easily (and it's all about easy, right?).

Also, New Order Apocalypse 3 is listed under Tough Chicks. Where are the other 2 listed?

You might want to make sure they're mobile friendly, too (I don't have my phone and I'm too lazy to get up and get it to check it out!). My husband is still working on getting my website that way. I might need to crack that whip again (since he's currently asleep in the chair!). :)

    1. Thanks, Stacy. The back button works fine for me in Chrome (scratches head)

While the tough chick in NOA3 is in the two previous novels, she takes over NOA3, and is the point of view character throughout :)

I don't have a smart phone (gasp), but they display great on my tablet (yeah...small wonders)

      You have a great day!!

  3. I like them both. Both pages make it nice and easy to check out your books. I like the Dude Lit page the most because it has the summaries.

  4. I'm envious. My blog - writing platform if you will - is primitive by comparison.

  5. I like it. The only thing that was difficult for me was reading the headings. A less fancy font would probably be kinder on old eyes.
