Snapshots - Circle Bar B Reserve - P 12

Greetings from the Hermit Writer.

Enjoying the swamp, and the coots and swamp hens.

A coot giving me the eye.

One must always be alert for unsuspecting wild life.

More Florida swamp. It's everywhere.

Uh...I have nothing to say about that.

I like baby pines. I look forward to hunting him down in 40 years. 'I'll see ya, dude.'

I went that way.

  5. More beautiful pictues....thank you for sharing.
A family planted a baby pine in our street several years ago and now it quite a large pine. Strange type of tree to plant in one's suburban garden but I looks OK, so far.

  7. I just scrolled through your last few posts and enjoyed seeing the swamp. Very interesting wildlife and flora. Regarding the gator across the trail. Does one have to turn around or does one dare to jump over it. Just curious. I've never been in the presence of one and I think I'd retreat but what if you're stuck in the middle of two gators on the trail?? How do you get out?

    1. Most assuredly, you turn around. Besides, you don't want to be arrested for disturbing them. Take a look at those teeth...those jaws. You want to jump over George? If you're stuck, you wait for rangers to pick you up in a boat.

      :O)

    2. Thanks so much. I guess a cell phone would be necessary to call for help if no one was around. Kind of scary!
