Snapshots - Odds and Ends

Greetings from the Hermit-Writer. Various shots from walks, here and there.

I like the early sun streaming through the Spanish Moss

Doesn't take much to provoke me to snap the burly limbs of an old oak

A bit of whimsy from a window display

Love what Ms Nature gives us

I like trees...love this old pecan against a cloudy sky

Randy's not sure about this.

Ah. The introduction is on. (Lucy loved him)

I love clouds...and trees

... the color of nature

And whimsy.

  8. Looks like you live in my part of the country. Your photography is truly evocative. Is the last one the country post office for fae sprites? Thanks for visiting my blog and staying to chat. :-)

  9. Is Randy a new friend? He looks familiar but not the name! You always please me with Spanish Moss, but your whimsy takes first place today. Especially that RED mailbox. If my mother were alive she'd say, get me that mailbox! Today.

  10. Love that first shot. You could write a great sketch about dogs meeting up..."I'm getting lemon-grass". Or maybe not? Or maybe substitute humans - maybe a bit Python.

  11. Gorgeous post. Loved the trees (of course) and the moss. And the dog meet up was a classic.

You reminded me that I'm planning to play around with my camera tomorrow. I haven't done that in forever. I miss it!!!!
