Greetings from the Hermit-Writer.

A Floridian staple...the pink flamingo

I needed a wide angle lens to really make this work

  7. These photos rank higher in beauty than the greenery in the last Hobbit movie. Seriously.

  8. You know, when I finally make that first million off my books (haha), I will definitely think about getting a winter home in a warmer climate. This cold stuff is the pitts. :)

  9. I love pink, especially natural pink found in plants or even fake flamingos.

    Happy New Year, Mr. Mac!

  10. A great time for a walk, obviously. Color is good, and a nice relief from the dried up flowers in our area. We have a few things that have refused to die off in the 32 degree weather, but mostly the flowers are all gone for now.

  13. We have pink flamingos here, too. Many people put them out around Mardi Gras time. We even have purple and gold ones. Anyway, a nice collection of images.

  16. Love the pink Flamingo!!

Although we live in the woods we seldom see squirrels--in fact Bob said in all the years he lived on this property he has never seen one. Weird! I think they all moved to the city.
