Greetings from the Hermit-Writer. [Dec 14 shots]
Park's name is appropriate. Seven linked lakes. A great kayaker's paradise.
Some leaves hanging on.
Love the sparse leaves against the blue sky.
Serious fall color.
This old veteran is still beautiful to me.
Great jogger's path...under the falling sun.
They were beautiful...but the old must make way for the new.

Looks like a pretty park with the lakes and trail. Happy Thursday!
ReplyDeleteHi, Mac...love your pictures. My favorite is the path into the trees as the sun is setting. So beautiful and restful. I'll have a seat on the park bench to meditate.
ReplyDeleteI love that old veteran of a tree too. Funny how some folks, even out here in the country, (not some perfectly trimmed neighborhood) they have to chop, chop and haul them away. Very sad. What a beautiful day it was for you.
ReplyDeleteThe photo of the red leaves against the blue sky is very pretty. I'm wondering what kind of tree this is.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to visit.
ReplyDeleteYou have a great perspective on things!
ReplyDeletebeautiful skies and remnants of autumn!
ReplyDeleteIt's times like these, that you can lie down and dream of spring.
ReplyDeleteI do love autumn, pretty blue skies!
ReplyDeleteThe old has more beauty (in my prejudiced eyes) than its replacements...
ReplyDeleteStill hanging onto fall! I love the light hint of color. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful eye.
ReplyDeleteNice to see liquid water again. That's a lovely spot for a wander.
