Favorite Passage

I may enjoy my own writing too much. From my current WIP, book 4 of my Revenir series:

We got out of Miss Ziggy, the heat blasting me in the face like a mallet, and walked for the front door. In Florida we can never say, but it's a dry heat. In August in Tampa you can step into a swimming pool to dry off a little.

  3. Eeeeeuw. Perfect depiction of weather which I cannot cope with. Heat is bad, humidity is hell (though my stinking MS likes both).

  4. I love the imagery this conjures.

  5. I just now found out you write books! I guess I wasn't paying attention. I looked at a few on Amazon and they looked like the kind I read too. I'll definitely have some new stuff to read on my Kindle now.

  6. I started sweating just reading this passage ;) Very descriptive of the summer heat in FL. I can relate somewhat.
