New Order Apocalypse 2 - My 23rd Novel

My 23rd novel is out!

This sequel to NEW ORDER APOCALYPSE continues thirty-three years after an engineered plague shredded Earth's population. Technology barely sustains a starving few on the eastern seaboard. After returning from a mission to the heartland, Jason Kates ignited a revolution that turned the CDC from a ruling order back to a scientific organization.

Now, Jason leads a team of pioneers west to feed what remains of civilization. The convoy must cross lawless lands, avoid scavenging bands, and negotiate passage with desperate clans. But he and the tiny Chloe will be propelled into a larger scheme.

Pictures - Unleashed

Greetings from the Hermit-Writer.

With Gracie's fur coat, I'm glad she doesn't like to get in the river.

"Nice here in the shade, Dad."

Lucy LOVES that river water

Molly just likes getting IN the water.

Molly and Lucy checking things out with neighbor Bravo.

This is our neighbor-friend, Bravo, we met up with at the park.
Rare shot of him standing still. All had a dandy time.

Have a great week

Sunday Safari - Morris Bridge Road Wilderness Park, Bike Trail

Greetings from the Hermit-Writer [March 16]

Mother Nature flung yellow everywhere

God's Cathedral

Which way to go?

Central, older cypress died, and left younger trees growing out of its trunk. So cool.

Nature breaking down past citizens of the forest

There's a bog every ten feet, in Florida

Pine and oak splitting the palmetto

I love the mix of textures

At night, these trees come to life and dance disco

Have a great week

Pictures - Sitting in a Lawn Chair

Greetings from the Hermit-Writer. The other day I was sitting in my front lawn cooling off after a jog. I was thinking how much I enjoy my front yard; maybe I didn't have an ocean or mountain view, but I began focusing on the specific things that just popped to make the experience so enjoyable...so I had to go get my camera.

Unfortunately, this shot doesn't do justice to the beauty of the setting sun shining through the trees, making the Spanish moss glimmer like Christmas lights.

The peak of my Sycamore rose just high enough to catch the last rays of the sun.

To my left...never tire of looking up into this grand old oak.

A little color. Love that volunteer sunflower popping up from the bird feeder above...dang...gotta fill that feeder or the squirrels are gonna be ticked.

Have a great day

An anhinga with eyes bigger than his mouth...the blur: I walked into a cob web!
