Snapshots - Joseph Robles Park P1

Greetings from the Hermit-Writer.

Signs every ten feet warning of the local gator...first time I turned my back, guess who was in the water? (Stinkin' Labrador)

Are you ready for cuteness overload?

Mom was very happy to show off her 11 babies. I'm pretty certain she was used to getting fed by the visitors.

Stinkin' babies are so cute!

I'm pretty sure they know it, too.

Ladi-daa...got any old bread?

Neighbor's yard had about 50 birds hanging around, chillin'

I didn't count...but at least 50...ibis, egrets, and muskovies

Molly kept looking over her shoulder at me waiting for me to turn around again. I kept one eye on her, to her displeasure.

  1. How many dogs are eaten by alligators? It doesn't sound a good place to be.

  3. They are too cute- and I hope the gaters don't decide to eat them! We have alligators here too, but not in the neighborhood. Signs like this one are posted at every boat landing.

  4. Re: alligators
And THIS is why I don't live in Florida. LOL! That dog would've given me a heart attack if I'd seen her go in the water.

I have the same trouble with Maggie (my lab). A lake or pond is an open invitation to her eyes.

  5. I don't think I have ever seen an ibis. So thanks for the shots and the dogs of course.

  15. You'll need to get those dogs reading. Don't 'gators like duck? Perhaps with a nice squeeze of Florida orange?
