Favorite Passage

After driving ten blocks I made a decision there were few differences between Kansas City and Atlanta. So much for the new, shining capital. There was no kudzu, which left the devastation bleaker, somehow. KC was a bit flatter. The view of the empty streets flowed farther. In the south, your eye observes humps and bumps without creating a story for the abandoned cars and broken glass beneath the green. Here the skeletons smack me in the face. More deer stroll past in the broader, open spaces.
Have a great weekend
