Sunday Safari - Clearwater Beach et al

Greetings from the Hermit-writer. If you've never made it to the beach before sunrise, you're in for a treat today. I started my peddle in Clearwater, crossed the causeway to Clearwater Beach, across to Sand Key Park, to Belleair Beach, to Largo, back to Clearwater. (Fell prone and died when I got home...oh my aching knees) Hope you enjoy the pix.

Have a great week!    (If you'd like to receive a link to Sunday Safari every week, drop me a note.)

  1. Ah yes, you brought back my memories of Tybee Island, when my hubby and I celebrated our anniversary there a few years back. We stayed in Tybee and toured Savannah by day! The best of two worlds. Your captures here bring it all back. Even when I stayed in Vero, we had mornings like this, and the draw of the ocean kept calling me back. But of course cute little shops like your bait shop would also urge me in. It was a double pleasure for me! Our trip to Daytona during one of America's coldest times, even snow touched down in Daytona, not so much fun as this!!! Great trip for me Mac, thanks.

  3. I always smile when I see Sunday Safari pop up in my email. I love your photos Mac and these are no different. They take me back to a few months ago when we visited Daytona Beach for the first time ever. We were blown away, it is a really beautiful place and it's on the list for next time. The hubby really enjoyed Joe's Crab Shack and is desperate to go there again - he loves crab! The down side is that we only get to visit Florida every few years but at least I get your pics to brighten my day when the sun doesn't want to get out of bed in the morning and the rain is pounding against the window! :)
