Have a great day.

  1. These shots are amazing. There's something about B&W photography that lends an otherworldly feel to them.

Even when I recognize the place, it feels like I'm somewhere else.

  2. I loved developing B&W photos (back in the 80s when I was working on that photography degree). It was all about the contrast and shapes. The one with the fence is what I like best about it, too. You also had one with train tracks a while back, that interested me, too. Cool shots.

  3. Please don't fence me in- cool chain link- really stands boldly in B & W. Why is it those lovely old lamp-posts still stand out even when they are grouped with so much? What is that telling me? I like the crisp, clear view of B & W I think it gives the viewer a chance to really focus in. Hope your day is WONDERFULLY colorful though!

  4. Great pictures. I've been known to stand in the middle of streets or lie down on sidewalks to get just the angle of buildings I want. I love the mixture of architecture cities can have-- especially some of the older ones. Wonderful-- thanks for sharing.

  5. Like Maria, I love black and white pictures, especially those from the past. Black and White London from the twenties to fifties brings the past breathing down your neck.
