I wish you much luck! It's awesome when one can be both writer and artist, or designer! The back story to many covers can be interesting. I own the book Great Dream of Heaven by Sam Shepard, (Jessica Lange's SO) and one night in a Cracker Barrel (one of their fave spots) they were eating there with their then teenage son. I had the opportunity to chat with them (she's a lovely girl with Minnesota roots a most friendly charmer) while he can be very testy- but I asked if this was the boy on the cover of his book (Great Dream of Heaven) amazingly enough it was both Sam and his son sitting at the end of a dock with their backs facing and feet dangling. Jessica said- It was just an old photo she had taken of them up at the lake! Check it out for yourself- it's a cool cover!
