PIX Sunday Safari – Alafia River State Park

Excellent park for hiking and enjoying nature. If you live around Tampa…consider visiting. Hope you like the pictures.
The park was once a phosphorous mine. They did an excellent job cleaning up...well...nature is resilient  anyway.

Yep...the cover of the water is GREEN.

I like spiders. There were lots at this park.

Awwww...bufferlies

Yep...I got rained on. But it cooled me off.

Have a great week.

  1. So this is Tampa! My X-husband (rest his soul) loved Tampa, I've yet to see it. I've only been on the east coast of Florida and southern and northern! But I'm sure he never saw this side of Tampa. What stunning footage! Also, How are your doggies doing this summer? I so enjoy seeing their romps through life! Enjoy your week!

  2. Great photos, Mac! Erm, you LIKE spiders? Well, you can have all the ones I run across, then! I do admit the webs are fascinating though. Nice you caught a deer in your photos! Like she was posing, almost. :)
