Yall have any thoughts...all appreciated  (contemporary fiction-suspense, with strong female protag)

  1. I am a fan of blue, it always draws me in! Red is a factor too, (although my least favorite) but many folks thrive on red! Of course without a doubt anything and everything that tends to be provocative wins! (Your last cover) which also leaves an element of mystery. It seems lust and the things that many seek at hockey games wins (ha! ha!) every time! Always go with something that's striking!

  2. I forgot about your first cover, with the background of the gun, very striking for me. I'm a fan of shadows and other shots blended within! Now if that cover had a blue background! Wow!

  3. Two Brothers cover: To me, the gun overwhelms the picture. I wonder if you put the man in the back in shadow if that would get the same idea across.

Living in Shadow cover: For suspense, the girl with the red background is probably your strongest one and it would relate to the first cover.

4's background is too busy. And #3 and #5 look more sexual than suspense.

    My two pennies worth. :)

  4. I like blue, and I like number 5. Drew me in at once.

  5. I like either the top one all the way on the right hand side (red with woman's naked back facing reader) or the first one in the bottom row (blue with side profile of woman's naked back.)

  6. Well I think both covers I mentioned, even with the women on them don't really say romance. The covers are so dark and haunting that my first thought is not romance. It's more murder, deceit, intrigue. But if you're concerned about that, use the one with no woman on it at all. That's a pretty good one although not as eyecatching as a woman's naked back, in full or in profile!
