Today's Favorite Passage

I haven't shared a passage in a while. This fits Toni's irreverent personality.

There wasn't much doubt she was in a dream. It was one of those half-dreams, half dozing-fantasies. The background was black-dark.

She walked down the gangway and reached to her waist to straighten her blue EUSA vest, but there was no vest. She looked down to see she was still in her string tank, girls saluting, and butt-cheek-tight shorts she occasionally slept in, if there was a likelihood her sleep might be interrupted.

She considered turning around and running to her stateroom to dress, but how stupid would that look? After all, she was an alien. For all the New-worlders knew, she was dressed appropriately for her culture.

  1. Very cool, of course all aliens must be highly selective in their clothes!
