Informal Poll – Audio Books

How many of you drive a car with either an MPx player or GPS with audio book capability?

If you do – do you ever listen to audio books?

If you don't today – if the price of an audio book competed with a paperback, would you?

Write Every Day!

  1. I listen to audio books all the time, but only on CD.

If I can burn the file on a CD, I will gladly listen to it on my (often) long drives.

  2. I tried driving and listening to audio books once. Yeah, no, that wasn't such a great idea. I almost got into an accident because I was so caught up in the story and my left brain was in main while my right brain was on the freeway, I didn't see the car ahead of me stop. I was lucky, and didn't crash, but then, as I was still in Maine, I missed my exit. So, no, I can't. Even if they were 99 cents, I don't think it's a good idea for me.

  3. See, even now, I can't concentrate, the first main was supposed to be MAINE.

  4. I don't care for audio books, mostly because most audio book readers don't live up to my standards.

However, I know three people that swear by audio books for long commutes.
